I quickly lost interest in the module, doing the bare minimum to finish the assignments and even the EMA. Good luck to all whom are studying! My S books arrived yesterday! Even during my revision day I had to take work calls and emails, so I was pleased when I got a distinction.
They also made sure that I was indeed capable of doing both MST and MS side by side which I am hoping I am, although I think anyone with a little elbow grease and time can manage to be honest.
We'll assume you're ok with this, but you can opt-out if you wish. So two years elapsed and 90 points gained. It still is an interesting read though. My new job involved a lot of travel, so I frequently did assignments on long haul flights or the Eurostar, and this worked, although I had to get extensions for more of them than I liked. By December I felt that I could start another 30 point module and looked for January starts.
Other than that, not a lot new has happened unfortunately. They are quite a colourful set I must say. It worked for me and I have a distinction at level 2.

They will pay your fees fully, then you either pay them back fully before your course s start or monthly. The tutor was fantastic and again, this suited my style of learning. OU Maths – halfway review
I finished the first year with two distinctions and thoroughly impressed with the OU as an academic institution. Leading up to the exam, my work became very hectic and April and May were practically written off.

This will be my last module with The Open University, and I must say it is a fantastic way to end off my studies there! So I now have half a maths degree with points. M was completely different — tutorials were more discussion based and the single pcak for the course seemed very basic.
